The rowan broom is considered to be one of the most invigorating and toning. It is recommended to use it in the morning, when it is important to activate the body, in-crease efficiency and recharge with energy.
During the bath procedure, rowan actively releases volatile substances that have powerful disinfecting properties. They have a destructive effect on mold fungi and Staphylococcus aureus, helping to purify the air in the sauna.
Regular use of a rowan bath broom:
enhances blood circulation and metabolic processes;
stimulates active perspiration and the elimination of toxins;
removes microorganisms from the skin;
promotes cleansing of the cardiovascular system, including lowering cholesterol levels;
increases overall body tone and improves mood.

Rowan steam is especially beneficial for people with atherosclerosis and high blood pressure. It has a refreshing effect and has a positive impact on the respiratory system in cases of viral diseases. Adding a few sprigs of tansy enhances the refreshing effect.
Massage with a rowan broom stimulates the nervous system, activates mental processes and helps to quickly restore your strength. That is why it is not recommended to use such a broom in the evening — it can interfere with relaxation and falling asleep. The best time for a rowan broom is during morning and afternoon sauna procedures.
Broom preparation
It is recommended to soak the rowan broom in cold water for 1–2 hours before use — this refreshes the branches and makes them more elastic. Immediately before visiting the sauna, place the broom in hot water at a temperature of about 80 °C for 10–15 minutes. Soaking for longer than this may result in a loss of useful properties.
