The balm aroma produces a soft calming effect on the nervous system, improves memory and supports cardiac function. Inhaling its steam helps in case of migraines, removes inflammations in case of dental and skin diseases and alleviates problems related to breathing passages.

How to use:

Soak the herb bundles in warm water and hang them or place them in the steam room, so that their aroma fills the space.
They may be placed in the steam room or the lounge when dry.
For steaming: place the dry balm into the steamer, pour boiling water over it, close the steamer and allow it to infuse for 15-20 minutes. Pour the strained infusion over the stove or walls of the steam room.
Advantages: balm reduces stress, helps in case of insomnia, improves mood and provides soft anti-inflammatory effect.

Difference from mint: mint has a menthol refreshing flavour with slight bitterness, and balm has a lemon aroma with honey and cream notes.

Contraindications: individual intolerance, allergy to the plants of the Lamiaceae family, diseases with prohibition of using diuretic agents and hypothyroidism.
